And what is wrong with this? I was perfectly polite. Are you telling me the British don't appreciate irony?

I'm afraid I'm one of those unfortunate cultists who, after examining and rejecting snake-handling and fire-walking as appropriate methods of communing with the Divine, have settled upon ferreting out the truth of the most blatant conspiracy of recent human history--the attacks on 9/11/01. My Church accepts no tithes and boasts no vicarage, but merely demands that its members keep their eyes open and accept no half-baked explanations for what they have seen. This truth is of no comfort to us, but constantly gives rise to more disquieting questions than it answers.

The recent BBC "Conspiracy Files" piece and the above "explanation" of the precognitive footage we have all seen by now do not serve the truth. The former is precisely the sort of propaganda we have come to expect from the corporate media in the US--and the latter is official mush.

I'm sorry, Mr. Porter--pleading incompetence in this matter just doesn't cut it.

The BBC World News reported the collapse of WTC 7 at 4:57 PM ET on 9/11/01. The building didn't actually collapse until 5:20 PM! (PLEASE tell me this is not a hoax!)

I am sick and tired of hearing how our country is so bad to others.

I don't agree with everything our service people do. I did not say "country," because we get blamed for a few bad service people. Many Americans do not understand the good we have done for so many countries.

We have given billions of dollars to many poor countries, donated countless material and freed countries. People forget. If not for the United States and the loss of thousands of our service people, Europe would be under different rule.

Understand one thing, we go into these countries to help and make the people free like we are! You don't like it? Go and live in North Korea or any communist country ruled by a dictator.

We have the greatest country in the world; we are not perfect, but almost. Love your country and appreciate what you have. If you don't like it, leave.

BBC HIT PIECE ON 9/11 TRUTH

UPDATE (Feb. 27): All seriousness aside, the new revelation that the BBC announced the collapse of WTC 7 while it was still visibly intact in the background pretty much does it for their credibility on this matter. What a bunch of pretentious, sneering, elitist twits!

UPDATE: Having watched this, I can't see what the fuss is all about. Anyone speaking with a well-modulated, posh British accent is to be heeded, especially by Americans (such speakers being by definition smarter than we are). 9/11 Truth is a bizarre and irrational religion, not unlike those practiced by the unfortunates who roll around on the floor and handle snakes. The venerable BBC certainly enlightened me on that point.

Nico Haupt's presence in the field of 911 activism is like a fart in a boutique--one unpleasant aroma is replaced by another. It seems refreshing at first, but after a while we desire nothing more than to get out into the fresh air. We need gadflies like Nico who constantly challenge us to reexamine our assumptions, and the NY911 group is as loaded with as many agendas as any other organization, but this sort of stuff makes Pro Wrestling seem decorous. Nico is intelligent, has made some good points, and he can be a funny guy--but here he goes way over the top and doesn't come back. (Strong language advisory.)

While I appreciate the OD printing my letter regarding the NIST Report I am upset that you left out my observation that the report was fraudulent. The scientists at NIST are not idiots, they know they should address all the data. To call their report fraudulent is not a stretch and was the whole point of the letter. 3,000 people died that day and millions more will, it's not time to mince words.

I thought it was an opinion page. If someone disagrees, let them respond.

Here's the letter in today's Utica Observer-Dispatch written by Herb. Fearing that they might offend Charlatan-Americans, they omitted only one word from his original, which isn't bad for them. If you would, mentally tack "and fraudulent" onto the end of the essay for the full experience.


Government report on towers inadequate

A 10,000-page, $20 million National Institute of Standards and Technology report purports to be the definitive government explanation for the collapses of the Twin Towers on 9/11. In truth, it can best be described as a pre-collapse theory.

The NIST report "does not actually include the structural behavior of the Tower(s) after conditions for collapse initiation were reached." This is a startling admission since most of the evidence for a controlled demolition or pre-positioned explosives occurs after collapse initiation.

Further, collapse initiation was obtained via computer simulations which, despite calls from structural engineers, NIST refuses to make public. We have no idea how closely NIST's input data correlates to the conditions faced by the Towers.

It doesn't require any special technical background to see the NIST report is unscientific.

It’s not Kansas anymore . . . and never was

Once again I’ll interrupt a series to address certain issues.

For those of you who get upset with this column, please understand a few things:

What I write is seldom my opinion, but the relaying of information gleaned from reliable and multiple sources. That means you won’t find them on your alphabet propaganda networks or in your corporate-money-soaked daily newspapers.

I also love the land of my birth, but I realize we’ve been fed lies for over a century about our history, our government, our education system, and where this nation is headed in the coming years.

And the destination to which we are headed is one of destruction and one from which we will never return.

You won’t suffer for it, but your children and grandchildren will.

I am not a Communist, Marxist, or socialist. I’m not a Republican or a Democrat.

I am, however, endeavoring to warn you through this newspaper column, as I have warned countless others around the world through my website and radio show, that we freedom-loving people have been and continue to be lied to.

And once people take the time to examine—rather than ignorantly dismiss—what I have shared with them, it’s not a great leap to understand the fix has always been in on us: the little people.

Since the early part of the twentieth century, we’ve not had a free press; neither have we had accurate history texts books that relate the real story about the United States from its founding unto this present day. This was an issue covered in the Norman Dodd columns two weeks ago.
You think you are informed because you watch CNN and Fox and suck down the slop the psychological-operation experts dish out, especially on the aforementioned networks.

A conspiracy theory? Hardly.

To be sure, the takeover of America is indeed a conspiracy. But it’s far from a theory.

It’s been going on in earnest for a century, and the same dark personages who are carrying it out are the same ones who bought out the information outlets to make sure no revealing light was ever cast upon them and their deeds.

Most of you have sensed something’s never been quite right about the way events have been portrayed.

And it’s understandable that most of you have chosen to believe the myths for the comfort you derive from blissfully sticking your head in the sand.

Well, there’s one guarantee about doing that: you’re going to get your butt fully kicked.
And for those of you who can manage no more intelligent a remark than, “Well, even if that’s true, there’s nothing we can do about it anyway.”

Well, you know what? That’s as gross a statement as “if rape is inevitable, you might as well enjoy it.”

Yes, that’s a brutal statement, but it’s not lost on those of you who don’t care that their nation is going down the tubes because, after all, you might actually have to inconvenience yourselves, break a sweat or a nail, trying to make a difference.

Now, if you want to know who those dark personages are, then you need not look further than the Robber Barons of the early twentieth century and the preeminent bankers of that time because they are the preeminent bankers of this time.

They—through their generations—still hold sway through their corporations, tax-exempt foundations, and think tanks—of which there seems to be no end.

Yes, we’re talking about the Rockefellers and Carnegies, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Rand Corporation, the Brookings and Stanford Research institutes, the vermin who came out of the University of Chicago like John Dewey, the father of modern education and a flaming Marxist.

How in the world did the good people of this land allow the handing over of our education system to creeps like Dewey and Benjamin Bloom, whose revered taxonomy has as its goal: the “behavioral objective.”

Aren’t we talking about learning? Then what’s with the behavioral objective?

Might our education system be treating our children as Pavlovian widgets?

Ah, yeah.

It’s training, folks. It’s not learning.

But I’ll pick that matter up when the curriculum series continues.

Let’s get back to the national scene.

Presidents are the chief whores. They’ve not done a thing on their own since before Teddy Roosevelt took office.

Well, when one did try—his name was John Kennedy—he was executed, supposedly, by a lone gunman.

Right.

Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield and William McKinley were popped within a 36-year span.
All by lone gunmen?

Get a grip.

Heads of state are not repeatedly killed by nuts.

Heads of state are killed when they choose not to cave to global designs on our nation. Presidents get killed when they don’t play ball with the money masters, who not only reside here but around the world.

And it’s always been about the money, really.
What do you think wars are about?

Right and wrong?

Hardly.

It’s about profits.

And think about this, especially you Bible-believing Christians:

Jesus Christ walked on water, calmed the wind, healed the sick, raised the dead, rebuked the Sadducees and Pharisees, and never was in peril.

But three days after He chased the moneychangers, a.k.a. bankers, out of the temple, He was brought before Pilate.

Yes, this was prophesied, so it had to happen.

But just remember who brought Him to that moment.

And nothing’s changed.

Presidents are corrupt or they wouldn’t get to the White House. Governments—constructs of human beings not Divine Law—are corrupt. The love of money is still the root of all evil. It’s also the reason thousands of our men and women are sent off to die with each generation through a misuse and abuse of our military.

And it will continue until good people finally have had enough and make the bleeding stop.

SILVERSTEIN AND HILLARY, SITTING IN A TREE . . .

According to this puff-piece on Larry "Let's Pull It" Silverstein in Haaretz, Larry is the BIGGEST contributor to Hillary Clinton. Here's a quote:

Silverstein told his friends in Israel that for the next five years, he will be busy rehabilitating the [WTC] site. It's the last project of my life, he explained to an Israeli acquaintance. To advance his project, Silverstein needs the support of politicians. He has paid three visits to Washington since September 11. As the largest private donor to Hillary Clinton, he has an open door to the office of the junior senator from New York. Other senators who received hefty donations from Silverstein have said that they are in favor of the project at Ground Zero.

What I said yesterday. Eccch.

A PRAIRIE HOME ELITIST

Garrison Keillor thinks Hillary is Peachy.

[Her] poise and intelligence stand out in the field of candidates. She's had so much experience in the limelight that she's no longer enchanted by it. All of the articles about Whether America Is Ready to Elect a Woman have been written, and now we can move on and look at real issues. We need to figure out how to accommodate the millions of good folks who are here illegally and have become a part of our social fabric. Medicare should be extended to cover everybody. Our infrastructure and industrial base need rebuilding.

One of Hillary Clinton's visible assets is the army of enemies she has accumulated, the carpet-chewers of AM radio and the right-wing trolls who go berserk in their webby caverns whenever Madam comes trotting over the bridge. One could not hope for better enemies. It is like playing softball against drunks. They illustrate everything about Republican dominion that the country has come to loathe, the blithering arrogance, the cynicism and corruption, and this wretched war that drags on and on.

Ahem. "This wretched war that drags on and on" is something Hillary fully endorses and will perpetuate if elected, Garrison.

Garrison Keillor sits thus with his feet up on his solid gold cracker barrel dropping such pearls of wisdom to the well-heeled center-left NPR tote bag crowd. He blithely charges his audience to get into each Friday Prairie Home Companion rehearsal as well as the real Saturday night Unitarian weepfest. Every week GK does a smarmy monologue (about $15 worth of the total ticket price) about people he'd cross the street to avoid in New York. And now he's touting HRC. Eccch. Aside from the fact that he should have shut up shop 15 years ago, he's really not helping us here.

I know the drill. ANY "Democrat" is preferable to ANY "Republican." (Yellow Dog Democrat Theory 101.) That's why I voted for Johnny Weaselneck back in 2004, God forgive me. But I really don't want to vote for this Hillary person. McCain has already said that people who hold my views about 9/11 are Traitors, and I'm sure Madame Clinton would say the same thing for a neat photo op. She smiled at the war whoops and chuckled at the Patriot Act. She ain't one of us, however broadly you choose to group the subset "us."

Hillary rolls the dice in the Big Casino with all the other elites. She's on the juggernaut train to the White House, assuming they stage the fight with professional glory hole McCain as her "adversary." Just because she can open a Budweiser with her teeth with the boys doesn't mean she's going to treat them right when the chips are down. People will do such things to get votes. Even Kerrystein bagged the Merlot and choked down Old Swillwaukee to look like Reg'lar Folks.

Anyone who can listen to Garrison Keillor at all these days must have a cast-iron stomach. His faux populism makes me want to sigh in techicolor. Perhaps he should have his chauffeur drive him and Hillary from redneck bar to redneck bar, where they can inspire the Red Staters with their authenticity.

I know it sure as hell inspires me. Barf.

9/11 TRUTH ACTIVIST DAN WALLACE DEAD AT 23

Dan's father Robert Wallace, a firefighter, gave his life at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Dan became deeply involved in the New York 9/11 Truth organization, and moved many with his eloquence as he sought justice for those who were murdered on 9/11. On Monday, January 29, Dan was found dead in his bed of causes not yet determined. He was only 23 years old.
