We have just learned that Kent Daniel Bentkowski (aka "Kentroversy") died on July 30. Our deepest sympathies go out to his friends and family. He suffered various illnesses (all complications of Hemophilia and its treatment) but maintained his researches and his activism as long as he could. God grant him peace.

Bugger ... poor Kent ... and I was only listening to one of his podcasts a couple of days ago. I had absolutely no idea he had died until I checked this page out just now.
Of course, I knew he'd been ill for sometime but he carried on doing the podcasts etc regardless. I didn't realise it had got so serious.
Of course, I never agreed with him 100% on things (does one ever, really?) but I always looked out for him on Vyz's show and others, and he always had something interesting to say.
In fact I had it in mind to e-mail him regarding the dental work he was going through since I had similar work done a couple of years ago.
Such a shame. Oh well, in his memory I might just have to go through all his podcasts again, and read the articles he put on the internet that I never got round to going through.
Such a sad day. Rest in peace, Kent.
